Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team as an Executive Chef. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Cook Complete Meals: Develop and implement new recipes, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to company standards.
  • Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas: Ensure all kitchen areas meet health and safety standards, inspect equipment and supplies, and report any issues to management.
  • Train Staff in Preparation, Cooking, and Handling of Food: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Order Supplies and Equipment: Source and purchase high-quality ingredients and equipment to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff and Helpers: Lead and manage kitchen staff, including planning schedules, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance.
  • Maintain Inventory and Records of Food, Supplies, and Equipment: Monitor inventory levels, record sales data, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A diploma or equivalent certification is required.
  • 1 Year to Less Than 2 Years of Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a related field is necessary.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: The ability to lead and motivate a team, make decisions, and solve problems quickly.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in preparing and presenting food, ensuring high-quality dishes.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Physically Demanding: Able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a high level of productivity.

Benefits
