Job Responsibilities

As an Export Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with our shipping and inventory teams to provide timely escalation and resolution of issues. You will communicate and coordinate with maritime shipping lines, freight forwarders, truckers, and shipping yards to make bookings according to sales contracts.

You will handle bookings, e-manifesting, Bills of Lading, and freight invoices, as well as prepare and approve export-related shipping documents. You will also obtain loading pictures on all shipments and provide them to customers upon request.

You will create B13/AES export declarations for Canadian and US exports and save digital copies of relevant correspondence and documents. You will handle a high volume of correspondence with divisions, overseas offices, customers, and transport service providers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or handling FCL/LCL Ocean export
  • Knowledge of export regulations, CAED/AES, and Incoterms
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Organizational skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal and writing skills in French and English
  • Post-secondary education in business, transportation, or logistics management is an asset
