Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our shipping and inventory teams to provide timely and efficient logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and truckers to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Handle booking and documentation for export shipments, including Incoterms, packaging, and weight restrictions
- Prepare and approve export-related shipping documents, including Bills of Lading and freight invoices
- Obtain loading pictures for all shipments and provide to customers upon request
- Create B13/AES export declarations for Canadian and US exports
- Save digital copies of relevant correspondence and documents
- Handle a high volume of correspondence with divisions, overseas offices, customers, and transport service providers
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or handling FCL/LCL ocean exports
- Knowledge of export regulations, CAED/AES, and Incoterms
- Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Organizational skills, including prioritization, planning, and problem-solving
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
- Fluency in French and English
