Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes, as well as providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, including office staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with employment laws.
  • Benefits Management: Manage employee benefits, including vacation pay, garnishments, deductions, and other adjustments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Employee Support: Provide exceptional support to employees, answering payroll-related inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee files, including active and inactive employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, including WSIB billing, EHT reconciliation, and ROE preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or Accounting, preferably with a degree or diploma.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in payroll/HR in a manufacturing setting, with a strong background in ADP Workforce Now Payroll system.
  • Skills: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite products, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and activities in a fast-paced environment.
