Position Overview

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor at DS3 McLeod N Sons Restaurant Ltd., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule Management: Develop and implement effective methods to ensure work schedules are met.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
  • Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise and verify the assembly of food trays.
  • Schedule Establishment: Create and manage work schedules for the team.
Qualifications

Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
