Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years is required.
Work EnvironmentThis role is set in a restaurant environment, where you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for operations.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit operational reports.
- Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
Transportation RequirementsOwn transportation is necessary for this position.
Physical DemandsThe role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires:
- Extended periods of standing
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Walking
- Physical stamina and attention to detail
A minimum of 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
