Culinary Service Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated **Food Service Supervisor** to oversee our culinary operations at Don's Dinner. This role is essential in ensuring that our dining experience meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Employment Details- Job Type: Permanent

- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a **restaurant** setting, where you will be responsible for managing a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Compile and submit operational reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for the kitchen staff.
- Oversee the assembly of meal trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Responsible for supervising a team of **5-10 staff members**.
Transportation RequirementsMust have access to **personal transportation**.
Physical DemandsThis role requires the ability to work in a **fast-paced environment**, including:
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Walking
- Performing physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail
Minimum of **2 to less than 3 years** of relevant experience in food service management.
