As a Culinary Operations Supervisor at DS3 McLeod N Sons Restaurant Ltd., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of our food service team. This is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities- Work Schedule Management: Develop and implement effective methods to ensure work schedules are met efficiently.
- Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Training and Development: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise and verify the assembly of food trays.
- Work Schedule Establishment: Create and manage work schedules for the team.
Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
