Hotel Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham Prince George. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective hotel operations, including front desk duties, staff management, and supplier negotiations.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure a high-performing team that delivers exceptional guest experiences.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible rates and services for our hotel.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed financial decisions to drive business growth.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing plans to attract new customers and increase revenue.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.
- English Education College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Salary: $31.00/hour
