Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at 97 Motor Inn. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff to meet the hotel's operational needs.
- Supervision and Performance Management: Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to improve performance.
- Client Relations: Negotiate with clients for the use of hotel facilities, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Maintenance and Facilities Management: Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring that the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and up-to-date.
- Policies and Procedures: Enforce hotel policies and procedures, ensuring that all staff members are aware of and adhere to them.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that all guests receive excellent service.
- Special Needs Assistance: Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing support and accommodations as required.
- Scheduling and Workload Management: Establish work schedules and manage workload to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a hotel management role.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail, and in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, a client-focused approach, and a team player attitude.
