Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham Prince George. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Operational Strategies
Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive hotel operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Lead and Manage Front Desk TeamRecruit, train, and manage a team of front desk staff to provide exceptional customer service and ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes.
Negotiate with SuppliersNegotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates and services for our hotel, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Manage Budgets and FinancesPrepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
Market the HotelDevelop and implement marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive bookings, and enhance customer loyalty.
Address Customer ComplaintsRespond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Establish Work SchedulesDevelop and implement work schedules to ensure adequate staffing, minimize overtime, and maintain a positive work environment.
Additional Responsibilities- Support for Newcomers and Refugees
Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, promoting diversity and inclusion within our hotel.
Support for YouthsParticipate in government or community programs that support youth employment, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Support for VeteransParticipate in government or community programs that support veterans, recognizing their contributions and promoting a culture of respect.
Support for Indigenous PeopleParticipate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, promoting cultural awareness and understanding.
Support for Visible MinoritiesParticipate in government or community programs that support visible minorities, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Requirements- Education
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
Experience2-3 years of experience in hotel operations, customer service, or a related field.
Work LanguageEnglish.
Work TermPermanent.
Hours40 hours per week.
