Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Roblyn Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the motel, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement effective policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring that all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for materials and supplies, ensuring that the motel's budget is optimized.
- Client Relations: Negotiate with clients to secure the use of our facilities, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our services.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring that the motel is financially stable and profitable.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all guests feel valued and respected.
- Business Development: Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and expansion, ensuring that the motel remains competitive in the market.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Youth Employment: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Veterans: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
