Hotel Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Assistant Manager to join our team at 97 Motor Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff to meet the hotel's operational needs.
- Guest Services: Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests, addressing their complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Operations Management: Oversee the maintenance of hotel facilities, negotiate with clients for facility use, and arrange for maintenance activities.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to staff.
- Financial Management: Manage the hotel's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Technology and Systems: Utilize MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook to manage hotel operations, communicate with staff, and analyze data.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hotel management or a related field.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned environment.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort.
- Budgetary Responsibility: $0 - $100,000.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, attention to detail, and overtime required.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
