Job Summary:
Auberge du Pommier is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Assist in food inventory and control, receiving and storing delivered items.
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef, Chef, and General Manager to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new dishes and ideas.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Culinary diploma/degree is an asset.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing.
