Position Overview
We are looking for a committed Culinary Line Cook to become a vital member of our kitchen team at Freeman's Downtown. The perfect candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for food preparation and contribute significantly to our culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and organize ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping.
  2. Assist in the cooking and preparation of menu items following established recipes.
  3. Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking tools.
  4. Ensure excellent presentation by garnishing dishes prior to serving.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  6. Properly store all food and supplies.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and place orders when supplies run low.

Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated experience as a Culinary Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen.
  2. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).
  3. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
  4. Experience in food handling and meal preparation.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Compensation: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
