About the Role

The Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst is tasked with ensuring that the organization's pricing strategies are effectively developed, documented, and implemented to meet business objectives.

This role encompasses comprehensive financial analysis support for the Sales SG&A corporate function, alongside the management of Sales Commissions. The analyst will engage in various financial activities, including trend analysis, modeling, forecasting, planning, and reporting for the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The incumbent will synthesize data from diverse sources within the organization, leveraging their quantitative and analytical expertise to derive actionable insights. The Senior Analyst will frequently present and communicate their findings to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and analyze P&L metrics (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)

• Calculate and validate Sales Commissions monthly, ensuring adherence to established guidelines

• Provide financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting support for designated SG&A functions

• Contribute to the annual planning processes for corporate sectors

• Proactively represent the corporate finance perspective in discussions related to overall company profitability

• Conduct trend analyses to facilitate informed decision-making

• Analyze and offer insights on KPIs for specific functions, including Sales and Sales Commissions

• Manage moderate processes and/or segments of complex processes

• Participate in specialized financial and business studies as necessary to support project goals

• Continuously assess procedures to identify future needs and challenges

• Lead and mentor other analysts as assigned

• Execute additional duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a comparable role

• 3 - 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining intricate financial models in MS-Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and financial modeling

• Experience with large databases and a proven track record in delivering analytics

• Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, and Smartview

• Experience in a large operational environment with diverse geographic locations

• Proven ability to own and contribute to processes and/or segments of processes

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred
