Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will spearhead and oversee the strategic formulation and operational execution of pricing and revenue management at 407 International. This role will utilize pricing structures, discounts, promotional strategies, pricing analytics, and customer insights to enhance long-term revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive pricing strategy that delivers significant results for 407 International.
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of pricing analysts, including conducting performance evaluations and development planning.
  • Collaborate with various departments (Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Operations, Finance, etc.) to create optimized pricing strategies and execute pricing initiatives, including price structures, discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs, while analyzing outcomes to inform future strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research and data analysis related to customer pricing behavior.
  • Manage external consultants, including contract negotiations, scheduling, budget oversight, payment approvals, and report evaluations.
  • Represent the organization in inter-agency research collaborations.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a pricing leadership capacity, specifically in:
    • Development, management, and maintenance of pricing systems.
    • Execution of pricing strategies.
    • Implementation of promotional pricing and discounts.
    • Ensuring pricing compliance and governance.
    • Conducting pricing analytics, including promotion impact assessments and forecasting.
  • Extensive experience and a deep understanding of revenue management, pricing analytics, customer experience, and pricing mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in data and analytical tools such as Tableau and SQL.
  • Strong comprehension of customer-driven value and behaviors.
  • Exceptional skills in business and market analysis, research, and problem-solving.
  • A highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset capable of establishing strategies and executing plans, leading organizational change, collaborating across departments, and advocating for data-driven decision-making.
  • A strong leader with outstanding presentation skills and experience engaging with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate pricing insights clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience.
  • Capability to understand business and stakeholder issues and generate valuable insights.
  • Prior experience in building and maintaining sophisticated dynamic pricing systems, including planning, development, and writing business requirements.
  • Excellent time management and project management abilities.
  • A robust understanding of end-to-end customer revenue management and pricing systems.
