Transforming Lives Through Innovative Pricing Strategies

  • Act as a pivotal business ally in delivering analytical and strategic support for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across various business units.
  • Offer insights and recommendations aligned with RFP criteria and overarching business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams on diverse projects including product introductions, capital agreements, business frameworks, and strategic partnership contracts.
  • Suggest value-enhancing recommendations to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Aid in the management of rebate processes, including accruals and data validation for payments.
Daily Responsibilities

  • Formulate and convey the strategic, financial, and administrative impacts of proposed and/or executed pricing policies.
  • Generate pricing recommendations to ensure adherence to established policies.
  • Advise on pricing and reimbursement strategies for existing and upcoming products across all pertinent customer and market segments.
  • Analyze competitive pricing to inform new product pricing decisions.
  • Contribute to the finalization of pricing contracts.
  • May design and conduct market research and analysis.
  • Responsible for documenting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives in RFPs, pricing models, and capital projects, ensuring alignment with critical business strategies and marketing direction.
  • Monitor contract performance and mapping for tenders/RFPs.
  • Track compliance with capital acceleration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams to support product launches, capital projects, strategic partnerships, and other initiatives.
  • Conduct various pricing analyses, including Average Selling Price (ASP) evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to Medtronic policies and procedures while recommending process enhancements.
  • Manage rebate processes, including accruals and data validation for payments.
  • Perform additional ad hoc analyses as necessary.
Essential Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree, or;
  • Advanced degree.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree.
  • Background in Pricing Strategy or a related field.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to system and organizational changes.
Preferred Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • CPA certification or pursuit of CPA designation or MBA in Finance.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experience within the healthcare or medical device sector.
