Position Overview

As a Culinary Specialist at Famous Wok, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Portioning: Assess and determine appropriate portion sizes and associated costs.
  • Menu Planning: Develop menus and calculate the necessary food quantities for successful execution.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage kitchen supplies and food inventory efficiently.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of complete meals and individual dishes.
  • Allergy Considerations: Ensure dishes are prepared for customers with specific food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Kitchen Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Keep accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Work Area Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Qualifications

Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience in a culinary setting.
