Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Food Innovation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will contribute to our mission of shaping the future of cracker perfection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in experiment execution and documentation, making observations and providing feedback relative to experiments at all stages.
  • Perform bench work in the test kitchen, assisting the Lead R&D Technologist in daily tasks of baking prototypes.
  • Create samples in lab or in factory trials for new or replacing existing ingredients for productivity initiatives.
  • Prepare sample requests and develop channel-specified items as per needs, ensuring samples are sent to respective customers as required.
  • Conduct sensory evaluation, prepare products, and analyze data.
  • Maintain the R&D test kitchen, including ingredient inventory and general sanitation and maintenance.
  • Analyze consistency of products and examine moisture, breakage reports, identify potential improvements to recipes and process efficiency.
  • Maintain a constructive work environment through open communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Submit samples for nutritional/analytical testing.
  • Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.
  • Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures.
  • Approve vacation requests.
  • Carry out incident, accident, and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
  • Issue disciplinary action when needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Food Science, Food Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in a food-related field.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team structure.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Technical knowledge related to the job.
  • Orientation towards a continuous improvement culture.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting involved.
  • May repeat the same movement.
  • Typing involved.
