Position Overview

The Kitchen Operations Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our culinary environment at Burger Factory Cambridge. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to ensure all dishes, glassware, and flatware are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Food Packaging: Package take-out meals with care and attention to detail.
  • Food Preparation: Portion and wrap food items as required.
  • Stock Management: Organize and stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure freshness.
  • Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Supply Handling: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and maintain cleanliness.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Vegetable and Fruit Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: English is the primary working language.
  • Working Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
