About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Counter Attendant at Royal Shawarma. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and package take-out food to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Portion and wrap foods to order, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our menu specifications.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring that our menu items are always available and fresh.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale system to process transactions.
    • Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or customer-facing role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Hours
    • 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
