About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Strategic Vendor Partnership Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and operational efficiency across multiple departments.

Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a cross-functional subject matter expert, working closely with vendors, product management, and sales teams to create operational efficiencies and drive sales of assigned vendor lines. You will be responsible for mentoring team members, providing them with the necessary information, knowledge, and tools to effectively facilitate vendor partners in the marketplace.

This is a fixed-term role with a duration of approximately 2 years, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic vendor partnerships to drive sales growth and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with vendors, product management, and sales teams to create operational efficiencies and drive sales of assigned vendor lines
  • Mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary information, knowledge, and tools to effectively facilitate vendor partners
  • Identify and communicate lead time and delivery based on product availability, build lead times, etc.
  • Perform deal registration, apply pricing, and create renewal contracts (where applicable)
  • Proactively identify volume and strategic vendor programs
  • Presents TD SYNNEX story and offerings and develops new ways to enable new business, incorporating vendor's full line card
  • Frequently identifies upsell/cross sell opportunities to drive incremental revenue
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve issues (i.e. supplier orders, quotes, etc.) with little oversight from management
  • Handles variety of tasks assigned by management (i.e. training, scheduling, reporting)
  • Provides vendor agnostic consultative services to inside sales reps and resellers
Requirements
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed
  • Able to use common office equipment
  • Possesses strong data entry skills
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations
  • Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above)
  • Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively
  • Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive
