Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the VP of Partnerships & Strategic Alliances, the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Alliances is tasked with crafting and sustaining the Partner Powered Solutions strategy. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of partner relationships, including identification, prioritization, negotiation, go-to-market planning and execution, as well as ongoing performance management.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to operate independently when necessary, while also enhancing team efficiency and effectiveness through the development and continuous refinement of processes and methodologies. A comprehensive understanding of our industry, the company, and the relevant partner ecosystem is essential, along with the capability to lead a team in executing complex financial analyses and business modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine partnership strategies, clearly articulating partnership hypotheses and delivering exceptional value exchanges.
  • Guide a partnerships team in identifying, selecting, finalizing, and operationalizing commercial agreements with new technology partners that align with the company's quality, commercial, and technical performance standards.
  • Oversee the performance management of existing technology partnerships, focusing on annual bookings, revenue, gross margin targets, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Collaborate across functions, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless integration of partner solutions into PointClickCare's product and commercial strategies.
  • Ensure that the implementation and support of partner solutions meet or exceed customer expectations, with appropriate partner participation as negotiated.
  • Direct the go-to-market strategy for partner-powered solutions under the company's brand, working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of partner technologies into core platforms.
  • Stay informed on market trends and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Mathematics; an MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, evaluating, and managing technology partnerships, business development, or a related field.
  • A strategic mindset with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to model market and partnership opportunities, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
