The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering comprehensive operational and technical assistance for Global Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst, specializing in Special Processing Support Services, will oversee the complete system life cycle management (analysis, technical specifications, design, testing, and deployment) and support of the organization's Corporate Lending System.

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Analyst include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Data Centre operational workflows and procedures within an ITIL framework.
  • Knowledge of financial payment products and services (including technical details and business logic/processing) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relational and embedded database technologies (SQL Server, Microsoft Access).
  • Basic knowledge of Visual Basic and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, etc.
  • Experience in desk-side support.
  • Daily monitoring of the environment for errors and performance issues.
  • Develop and uphold IT standards and service levels related to infrastructure, including backups, disaster recovery, device configuration and management, patch management, and cyber-incident management.
  • Research and implement innovative solutions related to business applications, networking, and cybersecurity.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Understanding of Data Centre operational workflows and procedures within an ITIL framework.
  • Familiarity with financial payment products (Corporate lending expertise) and services (including technical details and business logic/processing).
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (DevOps).
Experience managing 2-3 projects as a Business Analyst from requirements gathering to end-to-end testing.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to stay informed about product and technology advancements by leveraging both internal and external contacts.
  • High level of organizational and prioritization skills based on business and client impact.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Finance Management System (FMS) models.
  • Proficiency in MS Project.
  • Experience with simple to complex SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of corporate lending processes.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
