Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing data workflows and propose enhancements based on market trends and professional insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ascertain analysis and design requirements.
  • Utilize a range of data analysis and organization tools to identify the most significant insights.
  • Implement data solutions curated by our Chief Data Office, alongside custom data models tailored for specific applications.
  • Guarantee data quality and integrity across multiple data sources and systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Enhance data pipelines for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical assistance to swiftly address escalated incidents or outages.
  • Create and document comprehensive solution designs, sharing your expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish system performance and development standards, then create functional, technical, and design specifications.
  • Design solutions that leverage existing reusable components, align with business requirements, and ensure new modules are built with reusability in mind.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring frameworks.
  • Experience with big data technologies: Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, Kafka, Databricks.
  • Familiarity with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Python and Scala.
  • 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets.
