Position Overview

Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of technology solutions related to Operational Risk. This position involves coordinating daily activities with global stakeholders and support teams to address issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for operational and production support, facilitating issue escalation and leading recovery efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior management to analyze and resolve complex problems, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Design and manage documentation and procedures for user access and application support, ensuring clarity and compliance.
  • Oversee support mailboxes and ticket queues, responding to inquiries promptly and in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain effective communication with business partners and technology groups, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
  • Assist in delivering technology solutions that align with business objectives, enhancing user efficiency.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader organizational resources.
  • Understand and integrate the Bank's risk appetite and culture into daily operations and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with operational risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a high-performance and inclusive work environment.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support data mapping and document information flow to meet specific business needs.
  • Contribute to change management strategies to enhance user adoption of GOR systems.
  • Facilitate system training and knowledge transfer to user communities.
  • Independently address routine service-related matters while keeping management informed of significant issues.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices in operational risk.
Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst/System Analyst, with a foundational understanding of web-based systems and workflow processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly advanced Excel skills, and fluency in Spanish.

Experience with Operational Risk platforms and methodologies, alongside strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

A post-secondary degree or diploma, combined with the required work experience, is essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and the ability to translate end-user issues into effective business solutions.
