Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Attendant to join our Allied Health team at Sault Area Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists with patient treatment and exercise programs, ensuring a safe and effective rehabilitation experience.
  • Participate in group therapy sessions and facilitate education to patients as assigned by the physiotherapist.
  • Perform routine range of motion exercises and prepare and apply treatments under the direct supervision of the physiotherapist.
  • Record and enter workload units in software and maintain accurate medical records of treatment provided.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years practical physiotherapy experience
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct patients on the use of assistive devices and provide excellent communication and organizational skills.
