Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pure Kitchen Kanata. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet production schedules
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our culinary genres and menu offerings
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef and other kitchen staff
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and a team player attitude
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and prioritize tasks efficiently
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
