Position Overview

The role of the Medical Administrative Coordinator at SBLV Optometry involves providing essential support in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: Conduct interviews with patients to gather comprehensive case histories.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
  • Documentation: Complete insurance and other claim forms accurately.
  • Filing System Maintenance: Organize and maintain an effective filing system.
  • Inventory Control: Order supplies and manage inventory levels.
  • Office Procedures: Establish and implement office procedures and routines.
  • Data Management: Enter and format medical reports and correspondence electronically, preparing documents for review.
  • Confidential Record Keeping: Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry tasks.
