Position Overview

The Medical Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency of SBLV Optometry. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks essential for maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: Conduct interviews with patients to gather comprehensive case histories.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments to ensure optimal clinic flow.
  • Insurance Processing: Complete insurance claims and other necessary documentation.
  • Filing System Maintenance: Organize and maintain an efficient filing system for patient records.
  • Inventory Management: Order office supplies and manage inventory levels.
  • Office Procedures: Establish and implement effective office procedures and routines.
  • Document Preparation: Enter and format medical reports and correspondence electronically, preparing documents for review.
  • Confidential Record Keeping: Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry tasks as required.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
