- User Training: Provide guidance and training to users on how to use computer systems and software effectively.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions, ensuring that technical information is readily available to other support analysts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other technical support staff to ensure seamless support and resolve complex issues.
- System Administration: Provide support for business systems, networks, and the Internet, ensuring that users have access to the resources they need.
- Equipment Setup: Set up computer equipment for employees, ensuring that it is properly installed and configured.
- Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgment, organized, team player, ability to multitask, and time management.
This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
