About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Bar.B.Q 1988. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Implement and maintain effective food safety and handling procedures.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering of food and kitchen supplies.
    • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage kitchen budgets and financial reports.
    • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
  • Work Environment
