Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage Budget and Finances: Oversee the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs to ensure profitability.
- Plan and Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain management.
- Balance Cash and Complete Financial Reports: Accurately balance cash and complete financial reports, including balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff members to provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Cost Products and Services: Analyze and optimize the cost of products and services to ensure profitability.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that inventory is accurately valued.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a positive experience and that their needs are met.
- Plan, Organize, Direct, Control, and Evaluate Daily Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that service delivery is efficient and effective.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as hospitality or business.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel and have travel expenses paid by employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, and ability to multitask.
