About the Opportunity

The Supply Chain Coordinator performs and supports a variety of operational and strategic functions necessary for the safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement of the Supply Chain Operations service.

This role is responsible for maintaining data required to operate supply chain systems, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date. The Supply Chain Coordinator provides excellent customer service to provincial stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, by responding to inquiries, providing navigation, building competency through knowledge sharing, and supporting the communication and awareness of supply chain processes and policies.

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for regularly resolving highly variable issues from routine to complex, where critical thinking and judgment are imperative in creating positive outcomes that directly impact clinical operations.

This role contributes to the strategic direction of the Supply Chain Operations of NS Health by contributing subject matter expertise in Contract Management, Supply Chain Operations, best practices, and maintaining technical and knowledge-based competencies by remaining current with emerging trends and innovation.

The Supply Chain Coordinator supports provincial initiatives and projects, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify and support issue resolution, processes, and data for the entire organization.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or Science required
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in Supply Chain, or Contract Management required
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Proven technological proficiency
  • Experience with SAP, MS Office, and other cloud-based technologies an asset
  • Experience consistently displaying professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, quickly, and accurately
Key Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining data required to operate supply chain systems
  • Providing excellent customer service to provincial stakeholders
  • Resolving highly variable issues from routine to complex
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the Supply Chain Operations
  • Supporting provincial initiatives and projects
