The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Supply Chain Operations service at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health.
This position is responsible for performing and supporting a variety of operational and strategic functions, including data management, customer service, and issue resolution. The Supply Chain Coordinator must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain systems and processes, as well as experience working in a healthcare environment. They will be able to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Managing data and information to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Providing excellent customer service to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Resolving issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner
- Developing and maintaining technical knowledge of supply chain systems and processes
- Supporting the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives
The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
About YouWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have:
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or Science
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in supply chain management or a related field
- Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a supply chain or procurement role
- Proven technological proficiency, including experience with SAP and MS Office
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A strong understanding of supply chain systems and processes
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and a willingness to learn and grow with the organization.
