The Role:

We're seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Burlington. As a key member of our IT department, you'll provide level 1 support to our corporate office and a network of over 90 hearing clinics. Your expertise will be essential in managing day-to-day IT issues and ensuring smooth operations during the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-office IT support and coverage during business hours.
  • Handle shipping and receiving of IT hardware.
  • Organize and manage inventory of IT equipment.
  • Maintain the IT office, LAN room, and storage areas.
  • Contribute to time-saving initiatives, such as building Intune PCs for upcoming team projects.
  • Manage JIRA tickets effectively for both retail and corporate staff.
  • Perform e-waste cleanup and disposal tasks.

Requirements:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
  • ITIL and CompTIA A+ Certifications would be considered an asset.
  • 1+ years of experience in an IT Support Desk, Helpdesk, or similar capacity dealing with both hardware and software issues.
  • Bilingual in English & French would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware systems and familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience using Jira or other like ticketing systems.
  • Experience with hardware inventory and shipping/receiving is strongly preferred.
