Position Overview
The role of the Business Development Manager is primarily focused on driving new business opportunities within both commercial and residential markets. The key responsibility will be to cultivate new sales in both the private sector and the insurance-claim domain. This position requires an individual who can prospect effectively and establish new connections while also nurturing existing client relationships. Additional duties will encompass the development and management of the company's advertising, marketing strategies, and social media presence.

This team member will collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Operations to ensure that our commitments are met and that we deliver exceptional service aligned with our core values and mission.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, business development, or marketing is essential. Experience in property management, hospitality, or insurance claims is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the company's Vision, Mission, Values, and Service Principles
  • Compile a current database of property and facility managers within commercial properties
  • Engage in cold outreach through emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings
  • Conduct B2B sales to clients in the commercial property sector utilizing restoration services
  • Arrange face-to-face meetings with potential commercial accounts
  • Enhance and maintain existing commercial relationships
  • Document and track weekly activities and scheduled meetings
  • Analyze market conditions to determine optimal sales strategies
  • Coordinate and promote company marketing events, including:
    • Continuing Education classes
    • Commercial Seminars
    • Lunch and Learn sessions for Insurance Professionals
    • Trade Shows
    • Community Engagement Events
  • Monitor all sales data within our primary operating system, RMS
    • Generate weekly lead and job counts
    • Produce weekly sales reports for estimates and commercial transactions
    • Compile monthly sales data for individuals, departments, and divisions
    • Create daily loss and lead reports
  • Maintain the company's CRM system
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to enhance brand visibility
  • Conduct market research and assist in lead generation efforts
  • Encourage team building and engagement within the office
  • Manage expense budgets effectively
  • Review sales performance with Operations and General Managers
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Attend training sessions and conferences
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Travel Requirements
Local travel may be necessary based on job responsibilities, potentially up to 70%.
