As the Field Sales Consultant for Waste Connections of Canada, you will operate in the Red Deer, AB area, which presents a wealth of opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

The Field Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve reaching out to potential clients through various methods, including cold calling. Our advanced sales management tool will assist you in effectively overseeing your sales pipeline, allowing you to focus on building relationships rather than managing paperwork.

Utilizing a consultative sales approach, you will align the needs of both new and existing clients with our service offerings, aiming to establish long-term partnerships.

Essential Duties:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Document insights and interactions in our CRM system for future reference.
  • Collaborate with operational and administrative teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Engage potential customers through various outreach methods to generate leads.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Travel to client sites and industry events as needed to foster relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • Experience in contract sales is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as ARES or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle for client visits.
