About the Position:
The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service for ECCO Supply™. This role will collaborate with our Branch Manager, Outside Sales Team, and Warehouse personnel to exceed sales targets and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and sales calls professionally, courteously, and as efficiently as possible.
- Educate customers on product features and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction, and assist with quotes and pricing of jobs when needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, upselling, add-on sales, and promotional sale items.
- Participate in trade shows offered by ECCO Supply or suppliers to promote products and build relationships with customers.
- Forward sales leads to Outside Sales Representatives for follow-up and ensure timely processing of invoices and credits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data, including pricing and specifications.
- Coordinate shipping with Branch Managers to ensure efficient delivery and minimize backorders.
- Participate in annual inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with:
- At least 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry, demonstrating sales acumen and sales experience.
- A willingness to attend educational courses to supplement their existing professional experience, as deemed suitable by management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high energy level and proven ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A high degree of emotional intelligence and business integrity.
