Key Responsibilities:

The ERP Specialist is essential in managing and supervising the financial systems, particularly the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, within the finance department. This role necessitates a combination of technical proficiency in financial software and systems, along with a comprehensive understanding of financial operations and processes. The individual will work closely with various teams, including finance, IT, and other business units, to ensure the effective use and enhancement of financial systems to support the organization's goals.

Core Duties:
  • ERP System Oversight: Act as the main administrator and expert for the ERP system, collaborating with IT to configure, customize, and maintain the system in accordance with the organization's financial and operational needs.
  • System Upgrades: Execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support to resolve critical problems.
Financial Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate existing financial workflows to identify areas for optimization and automation.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement best practices and streamline financial processes within the ERP framework.
  • Continuously assess system performance and efficiency, recommending improvements as needed.
Data Management and Reporting:
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of financial data within the ERP system.
  • Create and maintain standardized financial reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting requests and provide data analysis to support decision-making.
User Training and Support:
  • Offer training and assistance to finance team members and end-users on the ERP system and related financial software.
  • Develop training materials and documentation to facilitate system adoption and proficiency.
  • Act as a point of contact for user inquiries and provide technical assistance.
Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls within the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with internal auditors to conduct periodic audits and reviews of financial systems and processes.
  • Implement and maintain access controls to mitigate risks associated with financial data and transactions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in financial systems management, particularly with ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in managing Dynamic 365 is essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.
Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office responsibilities.
