Titanium Transportation Group Inc. is seeking a meticulous and analytical Financial Performance Analyst to join our team. This position will report to the FP&A Manager and is responsible for evaluating the financial and operational metrics of the organization. The ideal candidate will be adept at collecting financial data, performing variance and scenario analyses, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver analytical support, forecasting, and reporting to senior management.
- Examine existing business processes to identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Create and validate new reporting tools to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Establish standard costs and analyze discrepancies with actual expenditures.
- Track process modifications and assess their impact on overall financial performance.
- Generate regular reports that encompass KPIs, financial outcomes, and analytical insights.
- Utilize SQL or similar database querying skills for effective data modeling.
- Assist business users in maximizing system utilization to enhance operational efficiency and identify automation opportunities.
- Document necessary system processes and testing protocols.
- Support the development and evaluation of internal processing controls.
- Streamline processes to enhance user experience and minimize errors.
- Collaborate with end users to ensure effective implementation of new processes.
- Monitor and report on cost savings and avoidance initiatives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or relevant public accounting experience.
- Completion of a university degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or in progress.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, adapt to change, and manage multiple projects.
- Capability to oversee project timelines and risks with minimal oversight.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate finance or supply chain logistics is an advantage.
- Familiarity with application transitions and process optimization.
- Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
