Job Description

Our public manufacturing, distribution and install client that operates within North America is looking to hire a Financial Analyst for their office in Hamilton. This is a unique role, as this individual will work on the corporate reporting side. This person will play an integral part in financial reporting, forecasting and consolidating results.

Please note: this position requires you to be in Ontario and local to Hamilton, as this is an on-site position.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports
  • Produce and interpret financial records and statements
  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements
  • Monthly, quarterly and year end reporting of consolidation and supporting schedules
  • Compile divisional forecasts and budgets monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Prepare annual Canadian Corporate tax filings
  • Maintain records related to assets, liabilities, P&L, tax liability, etc.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designated or working towards
  • 5+ years accounting experience - manufacturing experience an asset
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and can work under tight deadlines
