Key Responsibilities:

The ERP Specialist is essential in managing and supervising the financial systems, particularly the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, within the finance department. This role demands a combination of technical knowledge in financial software and systems, alongside a comprehensive understanding of financial operations and procedures. The individual will work closely with various teams, including finance, IT, and other departments, to ensure the effective use and enhancement of financial systems to support the organization's goals.

Core Duties:
  • ERP System Oversight: Act as the primary administrator and expert for the ERP system, configuring, customizing, and maintaining it to meet the organization’s financial and operational needs.
  • System Upgrades: Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with IT support to resolve problems efficiently.
Financial Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate current financial processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement best practices and enhance financial workflows within the ERP system.
  • Continuously assess system performance and suggest improvements as needed.
Data Integrity and Reporting:
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data within the ERP system.
  • Create and maintain standardized financial reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting requests and data analysis to support decision-making.
User Training and Assistance:
  • Deliver training and support to finance team members and end-users on the ERP system and related financial software.
  • Develop training materials and documentation to facilitate user proficiency.
  • Act as a point of contact for user inquiries and technical assistance.
Compliance and Control:
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls within the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with auditors to conduct periodic reviews of financial systems and processes.
  • Implement and maintain access controls to mitigate risks associated with financial data.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in financial systems management, particularly with ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in managing Dynamic 365 is essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office responsibilities.
