About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Prince of Wales Market. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing inventory, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth, manage merchandise displays, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

Our store is a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with frequent walking and bending.
