Position Overview

GEI Consultants Inc. is in search of a skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our Land Development and Municipal projects team. This role will involve providing essential support for various projects, focusing on collaboration with both the Construction Management Team and the Land Development Engineering Design team. Our department is dedicated to delivering high-quality Municipal infrastructure solutions for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field/site meetings related to Municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring effective Contract Administration for various clients.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, as-constructed data, site instructions, and Payment Certificates.
  • Facilitate project activities and ensure adherence to Contract specifications and requirements.
  • Engage with municipal inspectors to guarantee compliance with local regulations.
  • Review and analyze project drawings, providing insights on constructability.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a site environment as a Site Inspector or Contract Administrator.
  • Possession of a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
  • OACETT Certification as a CET is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of engineering construction principles, techniques, and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience in project and client management.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and details.
  • Familiarity with MS Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License ('G' Class) and access to a vehicle.
