About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team at JD Property Canada Corp. as a Procurement and Contract Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing purchasing policies and procedures to ensure the best value for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, authorize the development of specifications for products or services, and manage contracts.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and ensure seamless communication.
  • Contract Management: Review and process claims against suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and contracts.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 37.5 hours per week, permanent position.
