About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to join our team at JC's Grill House. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of banquets and events, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Cost Control: Cost products and services to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, address customer complaints or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supervision: Supervise 3-4 team members to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
