Job Summary:

Ceragres is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management committee, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisory resource to the management team on HR policies, labour relations, occupational health and safety, and employee relations.
  • Participate in the development and review of the sales bonus plan.
  • Manage contracts and policies concerning group insurance, pension plan, vacation, sick days, and other benefit programs.
  • Act as liaison between the warehouse manager and his staff for problems, requests, complaints, and other issues.
  • Liaise between management, legal counsel, and relevant government agencies in the event of litigation.
  • Manage termination and dismissal files, including preparing documents and coordinating with employees.
  • Ensure that the performance appraisal process meets the needs of employees and managers, and adjust it as needed.
  • Participate in the calibration of performance appraisals by providing comments and approving submitted documents.
  • Actively participate in the Executive Committee, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Advise senior management and all managers on human resources matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour relations, and occupational health and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
