Job Overview

Boutique 1861 is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive human resources vision that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic HR Planning: Establish a strategic human resources plan to achieve business goals and objectives, and implement actions to support these initiatives.
  2. Employee Relations and Coaching: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues and labor law matters.
  3. HR Policy Development: Create and implement innovative and creative HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with our organizational culture.
  4. Organizational Structure: Maintain an efficient organizational structure that supports business objectives.
  5. Culture and Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to maintain a positive organizational culture and engage employees.
  6. Recruitment and Talent Management: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, manage employee integration programs, and oversee employee performance management programs.
  7. Compensation and Benefits: Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
  8. Training and Development: Create training programs that align with business objectives and support employee development.
  9. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Manage payroll and benefits administration, including CNESST claims and pricing decisions.
  10. Occupational Health and Safety: Develop and implement a preventive management of occupational health, safety, and wellness programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a university degree in human resources or industrial relations.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience.
  • CRHA or CRIA certification (an asset).
  • Experience in a retail company (an asset).
  • Payroll experience (an asset).
  • Bilingualism, oral and written.
  • Strategic vision and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
